The International Property Flood Resilience Association (IPFRA) has today confirmed that environmental solutions specialist, Andel, has become the latest Associate Member.

With more than 30 years’ experience, Andel works across leak detection, sustainable water management, flood defence and environmental protection. The company designs and manufactures environmental products in the UK, including real-time water-level monitoring, as well as providing site surveys, installation, maintenance and ongoing support.

Graham Brogden MBE, Chair of IPFRA, said: “Andel brings considerable experience across flood defence, water management and environmental monitoring to IPFRA and we extend a warm welcome as they become our latest Associate Member. The team’s expertise in real-time water-level monitoring and early-warning technology is particularly relevant to the wider conversation about helping people understand their risk and take action before flooding happens.”

Mark Harris, Commercial Director, Andel, said: “Joining IPFRA gives us the opportunity to work in close collaboration with others who share our commitment to advancing property flood resilience and defence. We look forward to contributing our experience in a range of areas, such as flood monitoring, early-warning technology and property-level measures, to help continue advancing the industry as a whole.”

Added Shelley Evans, Chair of IPFRA’s Member, Media and Communications sub-committee and Technical Director at JBA Consulting: “By joining IPFRA as an Associate Member, Andel becomes part of our diverse network of around 20 manufacturers, installers, surveyors, consultants and other organisations who are working to support one another with improving standards, as well as sharing best practice to help make property flood resilience a mainstream part of the UK’s response to flooding.”
