What are the aims of IPFRA?
To represent the PFR industry (Surveyors, Installers, Consultants, Manufacturers, Distributors and the wider supply chain), working collaboratively with all stakeholders to lead, influence and support mainstreaming PFR.
- In the context of flood risk management, to promote and enhance the profile and awareness of PFR. Establishing PFR as an integral measure in flood risk and climate adaptation.
- To support education and awareness of PFR to include preparedness, resistance and recoverability.
- To enhance the commercial interests of the member organisations, supporting growth, innovation, best practice, education, training and collaboration for all Surveyors, Installers, Consultants, Manufacturers and Distributors and the wider supply chain.
- To ensure the highest quality of services, products and installations provided by members and promote adherence to the PFR code of practice and industry standards. (e.g. BSI).
