The National Flood Forum has been supporting flooded communities across England and Wales for over 20 years.
We recognise that flooding is not simply a technical or environmental challenge. It is a justice and equality issue.
The people most exposed, and who suffer the most severe long-term effects, are often those who are least able to prepare, insure, or recover. We support flooded people and communities through practical services and campaign for change.
Our key areas of work include:
- A dedicated flood helpline that supports over 1,000 people every year
- Engagement work including supporting hundreds of local flood action groups
- Specialist recovery from flooding support
- Training aimed at communities and professionals
- Campaigning for change for flooded communities
- Running the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Flooding & Flooded Communities
