The awards are an important part of the work done by WiFCERM, a networking group of professionals set up to support and connect women across the flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM) sector.
While focussed on women and those who line-manage them, this is within a broader context of striving for gender equality for everyone, so membership is open to all.
The annual Flood and Coast event offers the opportunity not just for the WiFCERM awards, but also for the organisation to exhibit, showcasing the benefits of corporate affiliate membership and engaging with peers from across the industry.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for connections, sharing examples of excellence in promoting gender equality, and expanding the network.
